As you saw in Episode #12, The FISA Swamp, the nation's spy agencies have illegally spied on thousands of Americans by tapping into databases at the National Security Agency. Episode #13 will update a three year old FISA court order involving FBI contractors. Many private companies have legitimate government contracts to search databases on behalf of U.S. intelligence agencies. However an audit found that 85% of the searches were illegal and violated the 4th amendment rights of Americans, the right against unreasonable search and seizure.
